March 2013 NABROAD will release the commissioned sound art work Entry Point by FM/AM on cassette via NABROAD's Editions series. The audio material was recorded live November 2010 at Entrée Bergen/Norway, using a selection of 56 radios and later post-produced in 2011. Entry Point contains two sound works rooted in devotional music to noise, and is now available in a limited edition of 50 (with logo and cassette design by S.F.S).
An essay by Jordi Carmona Hurtado coincides the release.

FM/AM is a musical and artistic project dedicated to sound art and publishing. Activities include concerts, sound performances and publication of audio/text works.
FM/AM utilize the radio’s technical specifications (volume, tuner, etc.) and the frequency register between accessible stations to generate site-specific compositions. Musical reference is founded in avantgarde, devotional music, free improvisation, musique concrete and noise. The FM/AM rig consists today of 109 units. All sound derives from the static of the radios. No additional amplification is used.
